I've just finished pouring some concrete into a trench in my floor so I can lay boards on top of it.
In some places this has worked perfectly and the tops of the new boards are bang in line with the tops of the old ones, but in others there's a couple of mm difference.
I've got some 2mm foam underlay. Could I lay that on top of the concrete with the boards on top of that, or would this cause problems? The other option would be a 2mm layer of plywood on top.
