Ive been trying to find the right person for this job with little luck. Ive inquired via Checkatrade with a bunch of different trades people but no one is biting. The few builders that have taken a look seem to want to remove the entire door (which is not necessary) or just patch it up (the wood is completely rotted so that wont do) so wondering if theres specialist that would replace a rotten lintel and rerender above.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
*Note I repaired the sill above which I think was the source of the issue, but hesitant to take on the rest.

remove the entire door

What door? Your pic shows some windows, some render, and an old rotten wooden lintel probably dating from before the replacement windows went in.

There's a door in the middle of the bay John, What's supporting that corner - is there a structural pole inside the window frame or is all sat on the window/door atm? It's a bit of a pandora's box, they won't know what they're really getting into until they start hacking away at it, might be putting some off.

Thanks freddie, yes these are structural poles and seem solid but the lintel is rotted pretty close to the base of it... so yeah, not %100 sure whats happening beneath. The timber behind the render is rotten as well, but it seems to be just a few small wedges attached to he brick to support the render to flare outward over the lintel.
I guess Ill just keep hunting for a builder that is willing to dig into it then. Im not from the UK originally so just wanted to make sure I wasnt wasting time asking the wrong tradespeople.
Cheers

It's a bit of a pandora's box

At the risk of sounding like a boring Radio 4 listener... Pandora's box might have initially a reference to her womb. It is suggested that Erasmus mistranslated.

If you tell a builder that's what you want, he 'll do it. But won't know in advance what he'll find or what it will cost. So can't give you a price unless it would cover the cost of demolishing and rebuilding the entire wall, plus a £10k risk contingency.

Is the bay above made of bricks?

Quite likely the entire frame will have to come out. The wall and ceiling will have to be propped, or might fall down.

Check er trad is not a good source.

Yes, the bay is brick. Hopefully replacing the frame wont be necessary. but we will do if need be.
Whats a better source to find a builder?
thanks for the information.

"Trade people so good that they guarantee their works for a year" speaks volumes.
I would not trust them to clean mee windows
