I have just changed the wash basin and tub in the bathroom of my flat. The wash basin was a two tap basin and now changed to one with a mixer tap. The bath taps were also changed. The pressure was never a torrent but quite OK. Now it is more like a very low flow/trickle from both the cold and hot water taps. Of course, the cold and hot water tanks (cold tank above the hot water cylinder) are in the airing cupboard. The flat is on one floor.
There is a power shower unit in the bathroom and this works fine, as before. There are no other pumps involved.
I don't know why the flow has suddenly got this low. Am I missing something and perhaps the new mixer taps are the cause? Are there taps for low pressure situations? How can this be fixed? Any advice would be much appreciated.
