Low spot on Patio...

We had a new floating (not butting up to any walls) patio about 10ft square laid a few months ago and it has an obvious 'indent' towards one side. Walking across it you can feel it drop away but putting a 6' straight edge across it shows just a few mm difference of around 5mm from one angle, nothing from another and the indent, if a small 2' straight edge is put across is level as well!

I'm thinking that it may be twisted and am scratching my head as to how to ascertain this to rectify the problem without tearing the whole lot up?

No, it's a repeating but random pattern of 5 different sized slabs. I've tried flooding it with water to see if it puddles but the free draining mortar puts a stop to that idea.
If I was to lift a couple of the slabs where the issue is I'd need to back track, lift the next and the next and so on in order to get a flat surface but then it wouldn't be level. It's a weird one!:LOL:
 
It's one of those things I'm aware of and would like to improve and asking a couple of people to walk around to see if they can identify the low point they find it easily so it's not just in my head.:) The missus has her eye on some expensive garden furniture and I don't want to have to put a beer mat under the corner to make it level.
 
Lay a sheet of thick flat polythene as a barrier and pour water on it.
The water will pool at the lower point
 
A belated thankyou. I had a thin plastic dust sheet and that done the job.

I'm no closer to sorting it but some of the grout has receded so aim to take a closer look after the summer.
