Ive been rooting around looking for favoured ways to wire M12's to a texecom 48 panel,
i found the manual, below.. courtesy of @gingerangles.
https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/wiring-manvier-m12.546783/.

can anyone tell me the best way to wire to an elite 48, do i need to use EOL .i was looking at the second one down on the right. with the E terminal? is Tamper even necessary .
and could you tell me how is detector reset is handled on the elite 48,

Normally closed or double pole. Sure this is mentioned on here before certainly a big discussion on the Texecom forum about behaviour.

E is to join tampers together by the looks of things, tamper is good for determining head removed.

detector reset not sure cant remember if I have ever used it to be honest.

Use double pole wiring format
Alarm zone to fire zone on detector
Link put tamper on zone
Setup output for detector reset on aux power.

Hi

I just thought I would bring this one back to life as the original Poster.
I am now looking to wire in the M12 units,
Could someone please tell me wich should I wire to, and a a bit direction for setting up the output for aux power that was mentioned.

And also we're Would the resistors go please.

Anyway if it’s a premier 48 just 4 wire two for the relay and two twisted together wired under the E terminal , program a ouput for detector reset and wire into the 0v

Haha.. had lots on sparky, college etc.. wifes pushing to get stuff finished. Had wires hanging out the ceilings for 2 years
