Mapei Plaster Primer over plaster with BAL Flex plus???

Tried to get the rest off but it’s stuck like “@“@“
So I changed the carbide blade on the scraper and I've managed to get all the paint off. I'm using BAL Flex Plus, will this primer be good for working over plaster.
