Max height for patio doors

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I couldn’t find anything similar so I’ve started a new thread.

This is a question about the maximum height of timber framed patio doors. I am about to have my kitchen window converted into patio doors. The total height of the opening will be approx 2800mm; width will be around 1200mm. There will be two doors, timber framed with a top and bottom pane of glass in each (simple design, no cross bars/decorative stuff).

I am confused about why it seems impossible to buy doors of this height. Everywhere I look seems to insist on me having a window above the doors and a max height of around 2200 for the doors themselves. I would understand that this would be to stop the door being unstable/flexing if the door(s) were particularly wide, but they will only be around 600mm in width each so surely easily doable with four hinges on each? I know I’ve been in countless offices/shops etc with much higher doors than 2800 and no fixed window above.

Is there a way I can do this? Does it require a special kind of door? Any advice would be really helpful so that I don’t spend the next six weeks slowly going insane looking through door websites.

also think in winter when you open the doors no trapped air at the ceiling
