This may be a silly question but I’ve recently got a joiner to build us some custom shelves and cupboards in a playroom that was built by converting part of our attached garage.
The side of the woodwork in the room is going to be primed and painted, so no provoke there.
However, would the back side of the mdf be at risk of moisture/damp issues etc?
It’s not pre/treated mdf and just raw so not sure how it will hold up.
One point to know is part of the wall where the cupboards back onto is uninsulated in the cavity, as the boiler sits inside the cupboard so not sure if this makes a difference.
