I am now looking at Internet access on the mobile network.

There are various plans available

But I don't know what I use. I am currently on virgin cable which is much too expensive.

Is there some way I can measure or discover how much I use?

You can tether your laptop to your phone for a day; your phone counters at the start and end of a typical day's use should help

Does your router keep any useful stats?

Thanks, I found it now. 70Gb in 4 weeks. Plus whatever the TV sucked down.

100Gb a month might be a bit tight, the next band on Vodafone is "unlimited"

On a 24month the price is £20 or £30

We have Vodafone broadband. Just renewed our 24 month contract. It went up to £36 a month. New customers pay £23.50 a month. I phoned up and got it back down to new customer prices with a £13.50 discount per month for 24 month. Coincidentally, our daughter works in Vodafone head office. She told me she can get me a discount on what I’m paying. I doubted her but sent her my details. I got this back from her. :ROFLMAO:

Depending how much TV and what you watch, it could chew quite a bit ... at home we watch ~2hrs a night of netflix, looking at my usage stats that has done ~200GB a month.
