I have a TS690. After a recent power cut the battery also died.
When power came back, the alarm would not silence saying battery fault, so I disconnected from mains and ordered a new battery.
Fitting the new battery (whilst still disconnected from mains so not to activate outside alarm), the control panel says 'panel lid tamper'. However, I am unable to user my user code to silence / clear message.
I have tried whilst lid is off, and on. I have also tried various combo's like 1234, 1111, 9999, etc in case it reset itself?
Has the extended loss of power affected my alarm settings?
Can I reset without calling an engineer?
