Searched the Microsoft site and located the answer ......
I have to resolve my son of the blame as we removed Google Chrome and it left some registry keys with the Chrome tag .....
Ran regedit
selected
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.html
Right clicked the value for the .html key and selected Modify...
Changed the value from "ChromeHTML" to "htmlfile"
I Repeated these steps for htm and .shtml keys and xhtml and htm keys.
