Miele T8812c Edition 111 NTC measurrings

Hi experts,

I am calling out for support as I am now at a dead end.

I have issues with my tumbledryer stopping after a minute or two, then it swithes into cold air programme and starts beeping.

Service mode tells me:
Long blinking in 'drying' and short blinks in 'cold air' approx twice as much as in 'drying'

I have meassured the back NTC to 100k OHM, drops in hot water. Front NTC 10k, also drops in hot water.

Must both NTC's have the same meassuring or are the ok as above?

The front and rear have different measurements.
From memory these seem ok.

I have had a dryer with similar symptoms.
Check the thermal fuse has not gone and check that the relay board properly turns on.

Hi,

I found that the mesh vent strips that sit INSIDE the bottom door aperture (not the door itself) were clogged and causing safety cutout. It's apparently not enough to clean by vacuuming or just removing the 'fluffy-stuff' with your fingers. I washed them in water and reinstalled them.

Working like a new machine again
