Miele W5741 washing machine

My W5741 Miele washing machine is making a scraping noise when the drum turns. Its not metal on metal but may be from rubber or plastic catching something. Its doesn't do it for the full 360 degrees. Thank you for any advice.

Does it make the same noise with no load in it? Have you inspected the belt? Might there be bra wires trapped between inner and outer drum?

Hi Harry, thank you. I have just established that the inner drum is off center. I removed the door seal from the drum and the noise stopped straight away. I am now out of my depth as I am not sure what caused the drum to be off-center. It may be bearings.. but beyond my skillset.

I've never heard of it, but I would guess at a bent drive shaft, or drum.
