Hi all,

I have a Frontline Espada bath/shower mixer tap (2yrs old). The spout has snapped off ("it just snapped" said my son!) and I can't immediately see how to fix it - everything is still in good nick and I'm hoping there's just some sort of spare part I can use to reconnect the spout to the main body of the tap (it's possibly a brass/copper connection? Nothing has fallen out of the tap - the photos show everything.

Many thanks in advance!

Ben

Hard to tell, is that some sort of fixing screws shown on the underside in pic 1? Does the bit left in the main tap pull or screw out?

Thanks for the prompt response!

I think the bit left in the main tap screws out (though I haven't been able to get a good grip on it!). And yes, the bit left in the spot is held by a couple of small allen screws - I've taken out as you can see in pic below. Just feels like the brass bit has just sheared in two, so the potential steps are:
1) Try and get the remaining piece out of the main body
2) Try and identify what the piece is called so that I can order a spare
3) Screw spare into main body and then push on the spout and secure with the 2 allen screws.

I'm comfortable with part 3 - but not 100% on parts 1 and 2!

Thanks again for your help

I doubt that will be available as a spare part to be honest. Perhaps check with the retailer and emphasise you've only had it two years. They should be able to contact the manufacturer/distributor which may be your only hope.
