de de d e deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...the Cavalrys here!

Moaning painters??????...cheek!!!!

After two hours of banging down nail head behind a chippy I said to him..'do you know what a nail punch is for or what'....

His reply.....

'Course...its something what painters use once the chippy has finished!'

We are the last link before the customer..

You go on a job, new work

'Why are there half inch gaps between the upstairs architraves and walls?...'oh thats down to the carpenter, sling some caulk in it''

Carpenter:- 'Its not my fault..its the plasterer..

Plasterer:- 'Not down to me the walls aint square...blame the dry liner'

Dry liner:- I couldnt get them square the studs are out'

Carpenter:- 'That down to the brickie the exterior walls are ****ed'

Brickie:- 'Blame the ground workers, the footings are all over the place'

Ground workers:- 'I told the JBC driver they went right... and the agent, its down to him'

Agent:- 'Dont worry lads...the painter will put it right'

Im moanin abot the rain just now...doin an outside and just about to start undercoat after 3 days rubbing an cleaning, stopping, and replacing putties and its not stopped ****in down since

Decorators ? Can`t remember the last time I saw a Decorator on site....all I ever come across are whineging `brushes hands`.We need light....we need heat...we can`t fill these holes.....blah blah blah. Get a proper Job !!!

Thats cos we are always putting everyone else work right..

Sites are crap...the main contrators are too mean to put the heat, water and light on...ever tried glosisng at 9 in the morning on a miserable winters day?

Scraping off plaster slurry of the corners of walls...around the ceiling lines, plaster burnt into pine skirtings that they want varnished...over-polished walls..

Then soon as we have finished one go the florescent lights on goes the heating...splits everywhere...patchy walls..and we have to put it straight.

All that for the worst wages in the industry.

as i said on another thread, painters are priceless(if they are any good)

if the finish is cack i wont get my money either
