Moisture retartdent MDF boards in Garden Shed/Office

I have insulated with 70 mm Xtratherm and am looking to put MDF moisture retardent boards over that, is 12mm thick enough for this?

Hi, I would test the Garden/sheds humidity for a time and see what it gets too, normally anything around 50% would be good and you could push it to 60%. Are you planning on finish them with paint or wallpaper?
