That 3% figure is totally meaningless as it's for the whole country.

The only figure that's relevant is the number of times RNLI taxis were launched from their stations in Kent to bring in illegal economic migrants from the English Channel, which undoubtedly will be a hell of a lot higher. I doubt they provide their taxis from Liverpool etc. :rolleyes:

RNLI have lots of stations in lots of places. It really isn't a problem!
 
Sort of is a problem when they can’t fund their current operations. If you put a bean counter head on, £36m on illegal immigrant taxi services is the obvious area to tackle.

Remembering that these are their most expensive vessels being used.
 
How about deducting the cost of the RNLI channel taxi service from that money we pay to France to prevent these boats setting off? The French might try a bit harder to stop them leaving if that happens.
