Mortice lock stuck when turned too far.

Hi,

So I just got a new lock installed, and for some reason when the thumb turn is turned all the way to the unlock position, the deadbolt goes in and then comes out again by about half a centimetre causing the door to lock again.

It's then almost impossible to move save for a bit of wiggling.

Anyone know why this might be?

Sounds like a faulty lock or faulty install, get who ever installed it back to sort
