MOT failure?

Anyone know if a ripped shock absorber gaiter is an MOT failure?

Was changing the track rod ends on my other half's 2012 Fiesta and noticed the drivers side one is in pretty bad condition

We have! I swapped them about five years ago, bit surprised that they've rusted so badly!

If I needed to do the gaiter I'd swap them now for the hell of it, but as I don't I'll just leave them until one goes again
