Is your browser set to clear cookies on close down?
Are you running/using something like Ccleaner that is clearing the cookies when it runs?

Maybe you pressed 'never remember' by mistake !

this seems to be a new thing with hotmail, if it is set to remember you i.e automatically log in then its fine, but if not you now have to manually put in your e-mail and password each time.

That happened to me when I was running xp. I thought I found a fix, cant remember.
Now new laptop with win 7 & it remembers all my logins.
