Just downloaded Rainbow tape. Worra laugh!

Now I know where Hale & Pace got the idea for their four s k i n joke from...

Sorry, that's just not true. The cabin boy's name was Jim for a start, not Roger. It's one of those urban myths... although Radio 1 did used to have a certain Master (Simon) Bates.
 
Doesn't happen much these days now but a lot of TV companies would do spoof takes for a "christmas tape" that was passed around and enjoyed by staff during the festivities
