Multiple Cylinder Misfires on Audi A4

Normally i would suggest either spark plug or coil pack issues, but with every cylinder affected this seems rather unlikely - they can't all fail at once!
Just check the coolant temperature sensor, under the left cylinder bank, fixed into a water pipe for a corroded terminal. This device sends a signal to the ECU which controls the fuelling and is always failure prone.
Just a guess though! Do post back with what's discovered.

The last code shows an issue with the device that effectively allows petrol fumes from the fuel tank to be drawn into the engine to be burnt, rather than escaping into the atmosphere.
Personally I can't see how that can give you so many problems, unless the vacuum pipe from the carbon canister has become disconnected at the engine, allowing quite an ingress of fresh air - this would surely send most of the sensors haywire! Have a look in the throttle body area just in case any pipes have popped off or look suspect in any way.
Unfortunately its usual for all of the coil packs to be replaced at the same time even if only one fails, and as there are 6 of them then that would be pricey - and you'd need plugs too.
Do lets know what's found in due course.
John :)
