I have a lot of music on my hard-drive, but I cannot get either media player or winamp to sort it by album title. Is there any way of doing this or are there any other programs which will do it. I don't mind paying for a program if it will do all the things I want.

If you add the tracks to the 'Now playing List' in Media Player you can then select 'sort' from the drop-down menu from 'now playing list' and sort by name, album,artist,rating or file name.

I too have always wanted to sort my tracks on Media Player.
I have tried as you have advised but am unable to find 'sort' anywhere.

Hi Shaggy.
I am using win 2000 ME and have MP 9 installed as I believe MP10 needs windows XP to operate.
Correct me if I am wrong

Real Player Plus (V10) will sort on artist name or song.

Also, JetPlayer will, though it's not as easy to figure that out!

With Real simplyy click on the heading you want to sort on, with jet, you need to go down several right click menus to get the same, but either work. Jetplayer is freeware too.

Thanks Dragonrider, but I think all the programmes mentioned will do this, I need to be able to sort tracks by album name. I will try downloading the latest Media Player.
