Sold it and started again on a bigger house....

Very nice, how long did it take you? Did you get any help from the young lady in the armchair?

Nice. Is it the angle of the photo, or could the oven door not be opened fully?

Has given me a few ideas for a house I'm doing up ready for rent.

It did take me a while but half the battle was to learn as much as I could. think it took me 15months!

Yes. she gave me a hand near the end.

The kitchen was tight! I think the oven door did open 99% of the way but the 600 door under the sink wouldn't... I had to have the sink on that wall as I had no route for the drains from the other wall.(party wall)

basically. when the extensions were built, the next door neighbour at that time mustve sorted the builders to pinch some land form the old lady that lived there!! the extension of the neighbour must've been easily 2ft wider!

When I had it on the market. I thought, it had to sell, as long as they werent fat or a chef.
first couple to view were both!!! never did recieve an offer off them!

Glad you posted this as I am about to start a renovation project of a very similar property in Manchester.

You have done pretty much what I envisage for my property including kitchen, fireplace, hall stairs etc.

While I will be doing some work myself, due to distance and time available I will be getting local trades people involved
with the 'heavy stuff'.

Hope you don't mind me asking but where did you get your:

1. Kitchen units
2. Stairs
3 Fireplace (is it gas or elec).

Very good job you should be proud of it :D

Am currently having some work done by a small contractor in Manchester. If you want details, based on this recommendation, email me (you may have to sign me up as a friend first, temporarily of course). I have no connection with this company other than work I have seen done and work he is doing for me.

His team include bricklayers, plumbers and electricians, as well as plasterers etc. He has a good relationship with the local BCO and know his onions. Worth a starting point.

Mac3,
very nice indeed!
Well done. What area of Liverpool? Looks like Walton/Anfield style of 2 up/2 down.
When did you do it, how much did it cost and how much did you sell for?
Not being nosy but my first house was on Goodison rd with outside toilet, bought for £3,500 modernised it and sold 10 years later fo £19,999. That was in the mid eighties, believe they are now going for around mid £70,000
