My screws look terrible!

To stop these chairs scuffing the wall at work, I’ve put up an acrylic panel. It’s just been a bastard of a job. Some screws are just wall plugs, some are the proper plasterboard ones. Plus, because the acrylic is probably a bit thin, it’s bowing slightly.

Any ideas on what I can cover the screw with? I bought some white screw caps, but they aren’t deep enough to cover the large screw head. I’m actually happy to buy something that just gets stuck on with a blob of mastic (or blue tac).

Probably too late now but our dentists waiting room had the same problem. He simply laid a plank of wood on the floor between the skirting board and the rear legs of the chairs so that the top/back of the chairs didn’t come into contact with the wall.
 
Why can't you bury the head and skim the whole board

Aaaaaah now that’s not a bad idea! I do have a bit of oak that would blend in. It’s not to hard to fill the holes and repaint.
