Need this item urgently

I have recently bought several small engineering parts from China on ebay, different suppliers. They've usually arrived in about two weeks. The estimated time was much longer.

I would be very reluctant to buy electrical equipment.
 
Have done similar to JohnD in getting parts from China, and as stated deliveries are all over the place, but generally a lot less than originally stated.

As an aside, if really "urgent" why not make some good old fashioned enquirers, [Pre-Click order [wait] collect] phone around as many local Electronic and TV / small IT shops and see if anyone has the part?

Yes I've bought this and that from China, pretty good success rate, via Amazon or eBay, but apart from some headphones I'd not buy anything electrical that I was plugging my own device into.
