NEFF oven failure

The fan heating element on my Neff 1644 oven has failed and although I have fitted a replacement, it still doesn't work. I have confirmed that the old elemrnt has failed and have checked the new element which is fine. All the other features are working including the grill and base elements. Any suggestions please? Simon

Unless you have not properly connected it, when the element failed - it possibly took out the control with it.
