I had this great idea in Nov last year to start the kitchen strip out in the hope it would be done and dusted for Christmas. Due for waiting for a plasterer it's taken a little longer!

were you not worried about asbestos in the artex of the ceiling. I have he same thing and am wondering what to do?

the house was built early eighties and the artex was done around the 90's going by it's condition...
