New plaster painting - have I done it wrong?

Hi

I've just had an extension with newly plastered walls & ceilng. In the bathroom I used Wickes paint for new plaster with 10% water as the mist coat then followed by 2 coats of dulux bathroom paint 12 hours later. Hopefully this should be ok.

Stupidly I then applied the excess bathroom paint left in the roller tray on another newly plastered wall (dried for 1 week). At the time I didn't think about it but it has just occurred to me this is not a good idea as the next coat of paint might not take or peel later on.

Am I worrying about nothing? Is there anything I should do to the new plaster covered with bathroom paint before continuing to paint?

Really the idea of paint for new plaster is that it is porous so continues to dry out after painting, covering with bathroom (water resistant) paint will stop this happening.
Don't worry though, you might well get away with it and short of cleaning the whole lot off there is nothing you can do, just leave it and see how it goes often experienced tradesmen will predict disaster because they cannot take the risk of it going pear-shaped. DIYers often use the wrong product or system, but they get lucky and it works out fine. A bit like crossing the road with your eyes closed, a very bad idea but sometimes you will get away with it!
