The car currently has 195/55/15V Landsail LS288 and LS388 on the front and i Link L comfort 68 on the back.
From reading reviews these are both seen as poor quality tyres.
One of my main criteria for tyres is braking distance. It can make a huge difference in stopping distances if you get a poor-performing tyre.
Various budget brands have been recommended to me:
Taurus High Performance
Nankang
Nexen
And then a couple of all-season:
Goodride SW range
Rotalla Setula 4 season RA03
Also, a couple of cheaper branded tyres have been recommended:
Avon ZV7
Uniroyal Rainsport 3
of these two, I'd go for the Avon, as it is cheaper but with the same A-rated performance.
Personally, I am sold on all-season tyres and am a big fan of Michelin Cross Climate and the Continental equivalent, the name of which escapes me at the moment...
I was shopping around and saw this, but can't believe this price is for new tyres:

These seem incredibly cheap, too:

Would you have any of these?
If not, what would you buy, or indeed, what rubber is your car wearing at the moment (oooh err, missus!)?
