Need advice on these textured walls please. Does it need bonding first then skim? I tried skimming straight on it but its not worked very well because some of these grooves are quite deep so maybe not good for skimming?
Scrape it back (if not asbestos) Pva (or blue grit type primer), then either a tight coat of bonding before skimming, or a skim with a thick first coat and possible third coat
