They do grow wild in Ukraine, but I don't think they are cultivated, at least not commercially.Ukranian caper

I think it's more towards USA than us. We just happen to be in the pocket of the usa. But we need to be, especially now
Facts dear boy. What do you base that rubbish on ?
you are forgetting that it is us that wanted borders, not the EU. It was working on before brexit. The EU land border is between Ulster and the Irish Republic, so therefor that is where any customs posts should be.
All this crap about non EU goods leaking into EU territory is just nonsense.
The EU has 1000's of miles of land border with other non EU states but it doesn't demand the right to interfere in the internal affairs of those states.
exactly the point if you think about it.Lucky for the Ukraine than
Agreed it’s painful for you ? But With out the military clout of the USA Western Europe don’t amount to a bag of beans and the Ukraine would be down the collective toilet
but you did want a border if you wanted brexitCorrect, the DUP don't want a hard border.
It is the EU who are demanding border checks, if they are concerned about non EU goods leaking into their own territory, then they can erect border controls on their own territory.
That is how the system works in most other countries.
You seem a bit confused. That's still a hard border. It doesn't matter which side of the line it is on.
They want to have their cake and eat it, and also eat the EUs cake.
You know a hard border is unacceptable for implementing the GFA - and the circle had to be squared somehow to accomodate Brexit. How else would this deal work? You seem a bit confused.
Neither the DUP or the British government is advocating a hard border.
It is the Irish Government and the EU and who want their slice of the UK cake.
All Sovereign nations have borders.but you did want a border if you wanted brexit
We had borders when we were in the EU. They worked well. All Sovereign nations have borders.
Would any part of England have accepted an EU border on its territory after Brexit.
Appeasement of the EU and the IRA has certainly worked.Appeasement hasn't worked.
Time for some tough love.
All countries have borders, didn't you know that.but you did want a border if you wanted brexit
I was referring to the sovereignty of the UK.Since when is Northern Ireland a 'sovereign nation'?
You can of course point us to the exact link to that claim?Any alleged concessions by the EU are due to their need for British support for the war in Ukraine.
The EU have already admitted that.
Well, every cloud has a silver lining.
