'these are the heaviest suitcases I've ever lifted. What's in them? bodies?'.

But its odd to classify it as a hate crime just because the victims were apparently gay.

The police are initially classifying the case a hate crime iaw national guidelines !!!
Dangerous to make assumptions as they always say manage it in the direction that the evidence guides you.
Maybe the suspect as admitted 'fair cop guv' already?
