cheap speakers / lights

they are picking up the rfi given by the switch when it is operated

Thanks Breezer , and they are not really cheap these speakers , they cost me a arm and a leg , they are good quality woofer type speakers . :D

the obvious questions are.

how long have you had this problem

has anything been changed (i mean ANYTHING)

have you moved the speaker cables

have you tried another lightswitch

swap the noisey one for a different one in the house (note my signature)

Have had this problem since I have had computers here , never really worried me , but just something I thought shouldnt happen .

I had my wife going around switching lights on and off , and it doesnt seem to happen in all parts of the house , mainly the kitchen and and one of the bedrooms next to the kitchen . In the room where I have the computers , the light switch is not affected .

Thanks for your help :)

Or get the lightswitch changed. Isn't DIY electrical work illegal in Australia? I know you can't rewire a plug without being qualified over there.

Thanks breezer, I will buy a couple of new light switches , and see what that does . :)

Thanks

Peter
