how do I change the e-mail address which notifications are sent too whenever somebody comments on a post that I have? Or how do I stop it? Clogging up my inbox! Help please!

It will be the same email address you are registered with.
If you do not want a notification when you reply to threads then do not select that option. Turn it off in your forum settings.
In your inbox, create a inbox rule that moves all notifications to a folder just for them and you can then pick them at your leisure.
Or go to http://www.diynot.com/forums/watched_topics.php and select on the right the ones you no longer want to watch and hit the stop watching button at the bottom.
