The shed was bought for an exhibition, and after we found a place in my garden for it. The timber is sound (being new), and to make sure there was no major movement in the structure by adding some 2x2 struts inside. The surface was then covered with plasterers mesh, nailed in place with staples. The Decopierre mixed and coloured to suit our choice of stones and is applied using compressed air then coloured and hand carved , again to out design and shapes.
Not really a DIY application, but we did get to play and carved some of the stone shapes around the window side of the shed. We are now looking at a dwarf wall made from breezeblock across the front of our house. Simple to build and as my brick laying is not great.... in doesn't matter 'cos they will cover up any mistakes.
Look at artofstone.decopierre.co.uk for some other ideas. i believe they wil be at the homebulders and renovation show at the NEC in April 10-12 I think....
