Oil Leak - Vauxhall Corsa

Hello,

I’ve noticed another oil leak (previously had one fixed a few weeks ago and got a new gasket cylinder to fix it). It’s leaking from the object which I’ve circled in yellow. Does anyone know what part this is?

Oil pressure switch. Replace it.

Oil pressure switch, but seems a strange location for an oil pressure switch. Are you certain it is leaking from there? Clean the entire area, then keep an eye on it for fresh oil leaking.

It does seem a strange place but if oil is leaking out of it I suppose it must be.

Replace that top rad hose while you are bout it too - looks like it’s about to split.

Thanks guys. Yes defo leaking from there as I saw it falling from that exact part (circled). A small amount of oil was on the ground directly beneath it too.

Coincidentally I have just broken down as my engine temp light came on and white smoke was coming out of the damaged hose! So good shout Mottie

It does seem a strange place but if oil is leaking out of it I suppose it must be.

It's a very common oil leak source on those engines.
