Hiya,

I need to put a stop cap/end on one of this old elbows.

What I would like to know is by looking at the picture, does anyone one knows if I could get a stop cap with this kind of old elbow?

Btw the pipe size is 15mm.

Cheers!

There probably are caps to seal on of the branches of you Tee, but consider cutting the copper, leaving enough to fit one of these compression stop ends:-[GALLERY=media, 41692]Untitled by 45yearsagasman posted 17 Jan 2012 at 1:11 PM[/GALLERY]

Oops.. sorry. Ya it's a tee.

Btw I need to remove the hot water, it connects to the washing machine.

The easiest solution is to remove the valve, and use the cap section of the cap suggested by 45 years above. Pendants will call this a dead leg, which is true, but I, personally, would not worry about it.

I will await flak:).

Terry, I 'm not sure if you are being sarcy?

Get a 3/4" one of these
shopping

or a 3/4" one of these with a rubber washer inside
shopping

and bang it on the end of the valve, after turning it off and taking the pipe off of course.
