Old folk don't remember the tory 3-day week!

So, not the fault of the Tories then?
Did they cause any of the inflation and was the budget allocation adequate - very probably not.
Forgot - was the inflation predictable?

Nice bit of cognitive bias, “oh look over there Keir Starmer won’t call for an enquiry on something that happened 40 years ago”

Do you not think that given the problems people are facing today, it might not be high on the agenda?
Biggest police fit up in trade union history, on the scale of Hillsborough, which endured similar delays before some kind of justice was achieved

That's nonsensical.

A change is needed
To who? And what do you think 'they' would have done in the pandemic, the war and the world recession and would the doctors, nurses, teachers, ambulance drivers, train drivers etc etc be striking with the changelings in place?

We don't want more of the same. The country can't take it. Unless you can demonstrate how good this lot have been.

Every government has a unique set of circumstances to deal with. The last few years of this lot have been lurching from 1 crisis to another, without the recession the pandemic and the wars that were on top.

After a few years it might be time for a change again, who knows.

I agree, but it’s unfair trying to use it as a stick to beat Keir Starmer with.

Well, Kier will pay them enough not to go on strike. He will pay them enough not to strike, won’t he?
Labour wouldn’t have kept public workers with stagnating pay for 14 years

Conservative period of austerity was political only, between 2010 and 2020 the rich got substantially richer whilst the typical worker saw wages stagnate.

Yep. Let Sir Kier have a crack. He has all the answers and won’t make any excuses. He does have all the answers and won’t make any excuses, will he?
The last Labour period was substantially better than the last 14 years of constant Conservative failure, so history is on his side.

Anyway, managing to do better than the grifters in power at the moment won’t exactly be hard, it’s a very very low bar.

Of Keir will be constrained by only being able to win on a mandate the public will vote for…so his hands are tied. He can’t reverse Brexit which would help the economy to grow, so that will remain as a millstone for the next decade.

Looks like Sir Kier should get Notch and Carmen in his cabinet - they will come with their book of excuses of why he wouldn’t/shouldn't/couldn't do anything, despite his claim that he has all the answers.
