Old IBM Think Pad R50e Laptop

I have posted this question in the Hardware Forum but only got one reply which was not really what I wanted, so thought I would try on this forum.

I Have an Old IBM Think Pad R50e Laptop an have migrated to an iMac.
I now want to reset my old laptop to factory settings .
Anyone any idea how to achieve it.

Now I need to find the appropriate CD if it hasn't fossilised yet.
