Old Union Locks without Keys, how to find key code..?

I got couple of internal doors where I have Union Locks, but I am unable to trace those keys.
Building is 80 years old. I managed to remove locks from door but unable to find any code that help me to cut keys.

Whats are the options I have..? Is there any high street vender that will make keys if I get lock to the store,..?
Is there any specific area I can look to find key code..?

Lock seems to be Union 2077 3 Lever Horizontal Mortice Lock

Have you found any keys of the correct size that go in but don’t turn ?

If so I’d open the lock and change the position of the 3 levers randomly, you may be lucky and change the lock to fit the key

Taking a conservative view that each lever can be cut to 10 different lengths then odds of things lining up is 1000 to one, good luck with that idea

Presented with the same problem and a spare key I can’t imagine failing to get it to fit.

How much are new locks with keys?

A 'proper' long term Locksmiths should be able to cut new keys for those locks. (Not Timpsons or similar chain Key cutters).

The Union 3 lever locks do have standard keys, but I honestly think it would cost you more to have a locksmith identify them that to buy replacements. If there is an affable hardware store near you with a rack of spare keys, they might let you try all the keys until you find the one that fits. I think there are a hundred differs for that range. They are not high security, I presume they are for bedroom doors. There is a different version for a bathroom or toilet door operated by a turnbutton, also suitable for privacy on bedrooms.

Your locks are Horizontal Sashlocks.

Look for any names or numbers stamped on them, especially on the brass fore-end plate. I do not think your locks are 80 years old, I think they are relatively modern replacements.

Please measure them, precisely, especially the distance from the front to the centre of the keyhole and the centre of the knob spindle hole. The measurement will be in inches, and may be a quarter inch or eighth inch.

The entire lock case will usually be five inches in length, there are a few four and six inch variants.

The thickness of the case might be five eighths of an inch or half an inch.

£20 with keys will probably be cheaper than replacement keys for the existing. £50 for quality without any time and effort hassle to get keys still sounds good value

I already replaced one with £50 union lock. I have another one now to deal now. These are for study and drawing rooms for extra security. Since I have 2 locks without keys now, I thought if I can have a cheap solution it will be better!

I have no idea if asking a decent locksmith to convert the locks into key alike (for example) would be more expensive than just buying new locks.
