One for LPG oven guys/gals - Overheat?

I had a double oven/grill installed and tested around six months ago on my boat and it has been great however last night when using both the oven and the grill for the first time the flame on the grill when out shortly before the sausages were completley done and it wouldnt stay lit for more than a few seconds when I tried re lighting.

Could there be an overheat cut out installed in which case I need to add further ventialtion?

Thanks, both were working for around 30-40 minutes then the grill stopped so I was more inclined to think ventilation issues but wanted to ask. I can easily add vent(s) to the side panel being as it is fitted at the end of the line but enlarging the hole in the worktop might be tricky.

Was installed by a proper boat LPG guy to the installation guide.

It seems unlikely with the present warm weather, but are you using butane or propane. Butane bottles can freeze up, if too much gas is demanded, for too long.

A grub, or other blockage has managed to crawl into the pipe to the hob. Fat from the cooking has blocked the hob gas

Not a hob Harry as that is a separate item, it's the grill. Hot fat from the sausages is a good call.

The grill in our caravan, never worked properly from new. It lit OK, but simply never got hot - toast took forever. After a bit of investigation and checking the spec., I worked out that although the correct jet had been fitted, as stamped on it - it actually hadn't been drilled the correct size. It was about 1/3 under-sized in diameter. Luckily, I had bought a set of micro drills a few years before and was able to drill it out to the correct jet size.

Those LPG jets are really tiny - difficult to find anything small enough to poke them clear. Maybe 5amp fuse wire? Maybe remove the jet, warm it up enough to melt the fat and blow it through with an airline?
 
It worked fine doing toast this morning so I`m leaning towards an overheat problem which I hope to cure with brass louvre air vents but thanks for the comments.
