'open' prv/condenser trap leaking behind wall,Vokera Linea

Hi folks,

it's taken an age but we've tracked the cause of our knackered floor to what seems like a weird install.
Copper pipe 22mm (prv?) and (plastic condenser?) come horizontally 4.5mtrs across the main living space from boiler, the plastic one is fitted into a small 33mm plastic u-bend 'trap' that goes off to the waste stack, but the copper pipe just sits in the open plastic top of the trap without a reducer or fitting.
Unconnected copper to plastic, water doesn't get around the trap, just been killing the floor etc.. till we found it. These are inside the flat behind a false wall under a shelf.
Can't seem to get any fitting to 'close' this copper to plastic, local plumbing/gas supplier says install is not right spec, but I'd like some advice.

Linea is a Combi. Wonder why the PRV is not straight to the outside?

Thanks more pics, unvented cylinder I couldn't tell you, Vokera Linea he boiler has flue to outside all remaining pipes inside, heating & water working fine.

Yes, I would have thought PRV to outside too, however can only think because pavement and shops below? New build issues, general build quality leaves a lot to be desired we are finding!

quite common up here Picasso , combi with S plan or Y plan and the DHW outlet from the combi usually feeds the kitchen, wouldnt be my choice but seems to be popular with some builders

Hi Ian I was replying to dan telling me the linea was a combi, its unusual to see a boiler prv run in 22mm so I thought there might be an unvented cylinder flooding the trap unnoticed.

So folks, how do I make it work?
Some sort of reducer for the copper to trap top or a re-jig of the whole junction?
Every time I go shopping for a solution I just get head shaking and WTF from pros, however I suspect that all our neighbours flats are equally a bit ****e too…
We're past our comeback time on the developer, so have to sort ourselves or at least have a plan to employ someone.

Is there water coming out of the copper pipe ?

Hi picasso, no water at present, but water has been leaking small amounts for some time, intermittent, (triggered by boiler cycle?) we've heard it drip thats how we found it.
Almost like it doesn't have enough to 'push' round the trap bend and just weeps over the top? Could that be?
Had a rod along the wast pipe to the stack a couple of meters, but it has a bizarre dogleg around to the other side of the stack, so how effective that was couldn't tell.
I put a measure on the fall of the pipe from boiler and it seems almost horizontal.
Linea Boiler is working fine,

Would it be possible to reroute the condensate pipe from the boiler (that's where the water is coming from)

Is the boiler on an outside wall ? Have you been topping the pressure up on the boiler a lot ?

Its not right as the prv termination is a warning pipe and should be on show.
If the waters coming out of that gap (i dont think it is, its more likely to be a seal on the trap) then (pic above) will seal that gap but if your prv starts letting by remember you won't know.
