Looks like I need to replace the main oven thermostat for a Hotpoint UHS53X.
The thermostat for the oven has the part number 55.13054.080.
After a search (ebay) I am pretty surprised at the price these thermostats go for, many upwards of £50. I was naively expecting a part like this to cost a maximum of £10 or something
The cheapest I may have found is a compatible one for £20 (need to double check compatibility).
I just wanted to check if anyone knew of any sources with cheaper compatible options.
This is one of those things where the price feels so inflated for the part I get suspicious that under a slightly different reference/name the part would be considerably cheaper.
