I am decorating the bathrom. Is it possible to use paint stripper on the copper water pipes or do I have to use elbow grease and sand the old paint off?
yes you can use paint stripper on the copper pipes nitromorse or well known product.but make sure you cover any thing you don't want stripping, use gloves as well as this can burn the skin,be cautious and all will be ok.
And wear safety glasses, it's basically a very strong caustic solution and believe me, you don't want any of that stuff flicking of your brush and getting into your eye(s).
