My one and so far only diy disaster was when I had been stripping paint with Nitromores, the paint came off ok so I decided to wash the brushes and tin out in the bath, only thing I forgot was the bath was fiberglass resing coated thingy and it totally distroyed the bath surface in a couple of minutes... we had to get a new bath!
