Nothing wrong with chanting "peace from the river to the sea". But once you add Palestine it's clear that you are referring to the whole land as Palestine. Do you think Scottish people will be offended if I organised a march saying from John o'Groats to Lands end England rules with lots of St Georges flags on display?

@securespark - not sure what I'm missing. What's the context?

Do you not think it's just as offensive to a Palestinian when Israel says the same thing?

“between the Sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty”.

Do they not, in that case, have the same rights to self-defence and self-determination as Israel demands is their right?

Its actions and intent.
1400 people murdered brutally 80% civilians, children etc. It was a clear act of war.

And round and round we go. Who attacked who on the 7th.

The conflict did not start on the 7th.
Israel's occupation of Gaza and the West Bank did not start on the 7th.

Israel's policy of apartheid did not start on the 7th.
Israel's policy of vorcibly evicting Palestinians from their homes, and killing them if they resisted did not start on the 7th.
Israel's policy of imprisoning Palestinians without trial did not start on the 7th.
Israel's policy of killing Palestinians who strayed too close to the border did not start on the 7th.
Israel's policy of killing little boys for throwing stones did not start on the 7th.

Their actions are a response to Israeli intent upon communities in Gaza and the West Bank.
9,927 killed in revenge attacks by a Fascist state.
Many condemned as war crimes by the United Nations.

What about the bit that said this slogan does not rhyme in Arabic?
Hamas want all of the land from the river to the sea.

"Palestine, which extends from the River Jordan in the east to the Mediterranean in the west and from Ras Al-Naqurah in the north to Umm Al-Rashrash in the south, is an integral territorial unit. It is the land and the home of the Palestinian people. The expulsion and banishment of the Palestinian people from their land and the establishment of the Zionist entity therein do not annul the right of the Palestinian people to their entire land and do not entrench any rights therein for the usurping Zionist entity."

"Hamas believes that no part of the land of Palestine shall be compromised or conceded, irrespective of the causes, the circumstances and the pressures and no matter how long the occupation lasts. Hamas rejects any alternative to the full and complete liberation of Palestine, from the river to the sea"

Yes. But they don't have the right to exterminate all Jews, which is the claim of Hamas. Israel will just keep pointing to that as their justification for what they do.

So both sides express similar intent yet you choose to harp on about the Jewish right to expel all Palestinians from the region as a justification. Seems to me the Zionists are determined to kill them all.
Another day, another war crime.
