I have a Panasonic SD-ZB2502 Breadmaker and after a drop, the base was broken, which has now been replaced with a spare identical base from Ebay but having looked inside from the top, the inner metal walls (without the loaf basket in) have some separation between the walls and the base. I imagine it may be a pain to replace both, assuming I can even get the parts.

My question would be, if anyone would know, is how much would this affect the creation of a loaf because I would think that some heat would escape during the baking and even possibly for that escaped heat to damage any plastic parts that is behind the metal walls or would that be minimal? I would think that loaf creation would be affected but just wanted to ask peoples opinions. There is no errors on the screen etc. I suppose i could just test it by making a load but I've never used it or any panasonic bread maker so I have nothing to compare. Any info/help/opinions would be appreciated
