Hi,
Recently discovered mould on the south facing wall of my house close to the party wall. It was hidden behind a cupboard so we didn't notice it developing.
I'm not sure if this is from condensation or a leak. Can't see any obvious places for water to get in on the back wall.
There is however an obvious problem with the parapet wall render. It is all falling off, and it has been done twice now in six years. I'm assuming the two are connected.
Can anyone advise how this render should be applied so that it doesn't fall of in slabs?
Would you agree that this is the likely cause of the mould?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
John
