Partially bricking up a window opening above steel beams

Hi all,

I need to reduce a window opening on the first floor from one large window into two smaller ones. Below the window are two universal beams back to back which are supporting the wall above an opening into an extension (a few courses down, not directly underneath).
Before I go employing a structural engineer for a simple recalc of the beams I wondered if anyone was aware if/how openings are taken into consideration when calculating steel beams for openings and whether this wouldn't actually make much difference (ie they calculate to take the load of the entire wall and merely use the windows openings to add certain point loads).

I doubt the beams would be at any risk from adding ~130kg worth of brickwork but always better to check.

Thanks

Part, point and unevenly distributed loads can affect beams more than if they were supporting a whole wall
